In a unexpected crossover event that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Uncovered
According to the official statement, "An unusual meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited rituals and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden group.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
